DOG FRIENDLY

Prevelly Villas - "Doggie Rules"

Dear Guests,

We welcome you and your pets to Prevelly Villas and wish you the best of holidays with us. We are a dog friendly property (maximum 2 dogs) and wish to request that you be house friendly pet owners.

Many of our guests are not pet owners, and it is our responsibility, together to ensure a completely clean house for following guests. This means all traces of dog hair, sand, odour and fleas be moved from the house.
We as owners, sometimes find the job of cleaning to be additional after dogs have been in the house, and rather than charge cleaning fees, would like to request the following from you:

1.Please use the dog blankets and sheets provided to protect our mats and furniture. It is far easier to clean if hair does not reach these surfaces. You may need to close the bedroom doors to stop dogs going into bedrooms. Under no circumstances are dogs allowed in or near bedrooms.

2.Please give your dog a drying out time outside, even it if means leashing them to a post to allow beach sand to deposit outside. There is a brush outside to help remove beach sand.

3.Please be responsible for dog ‘poo’ on lawns and remove it using the bags provided.

4.You are required to clean floors using the vaccum cleaner in the house, or finding a stronger one in our cleaning shed (next to the lower, left-hand, single level house).

Thank you very much for these considerations. They will ensure the future of our doggie friendliness.

"Packed suitcases usually means one thing to family dogs - boarding kennels!  But Prevelly Villas proprieters, Pete & Deirdre have found  that adults and children are happier with the family pet, so they genuinely welcome dogs to their houses for a trouble & worry free holiday". 2006
