Weather & Climate
Margaret River has a mediterranean climate with mean summer temperatures around 30 degrees, and cool nights due to the influence of the afternoon ocean sea breezes.  Winter temperatures vary from a minimum of 11 degrees to 18 degress on average.  Most rainfall occurs during the months from April to October, and the annual rainfall is around 1000mm.

Some of Margaret River's acclaimed wineries are only a short drive from Prevelly......

Margaret River has a reputation as one of the premium wine producing regions of the world.
A combination of a Mediterranean climate, soils, viticulture practices, being situated close to the ocean leads to fruit being consistently of high quality and boasting intense fruit flavour. The region stretches approximately 100km long x 27 km wide (in places) and has close to 100 cellar doors to explore....what a choice!
